Lantmännen AXA PJSC and METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine LLC are once again launching a joint charity program " FUTURE HEARTS", which aims to raise funds for the purchase of implants for surgery of children who are patients of the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. The initiative will run from September 1 to October 31, 2021 in 26 METRO retail stores in 18 cities of Ukraine.

According to the official Rules of the program, from the cost of each sold unit of breakfast cereal TM "AXA" and "START!" in METRO stores, Lantmannnen Aksa together with METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine will transfer 2 hryvnias to a special account of the Hearts of the Future charity fund. All funds raised during the initiative will be used to purchase medical equipment, namely occluders - implants used during cardiac surgery on children's hearts by doctors of the Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery.
